Killing Clean: Documentary about Ohio examines the forces pushing back on renewable energy progress

Opponents of solar and other renewable resources continue to mobilize across the country to undermine increasing adoption and deployment. As this in-depth documentary shows, they zeroed in on Ohio as an early win for their effort to fight clean energy policy at the state level. Beginning in earnest in 2011, a network of coal companies, utilities, think tanks, nonprofit foundations and political action committees coalesced to reverse Ohio’s alternative energy initiatives. Ultimately, the initiative failed, in part because renewable energy advocates were able to remind Ohio’s leaders about the jobs and investment their commitment to renewable energy had produced. Join Producer Marisa Venegas, Reporter Brad Wieners and Greenlink Founder Matt Cox as they discuss the Ohio face-off.

Lunch Keynote - Bill Nussey, Author, Freeing Energy

Special Anniversary Presentation - Anya Schoolman, Executive Director, Solar United Neighbors

And a presentation on Floating Solar by D3Energy
