Greta Thunberg, a 16 year old climate activist, held her first school Climate Strike outside the Swedish parliament 7 months ago. Since then, student strikes have spread across the globe, and they have grown in strength and intensity.
Soon, we will be joining her in the largest Climate Strike yet! On March 15th, thousands, and possibly millions, of young people across the globe will leave school or work to protest the climate inaction of politicians and governments. We will no longer sit here and accept their shortcomings. We will unite and demand that our governments and leaders take climate action and stop this Climate Emergency!
10am: Walk out of class or work
11am: Rally in front of Low Library
2pm: NYC march starting at Columbus Circle going to the American Museum of Natural History
Don't go to school! Don't go to work! And join us. The only way we will save our futures is if we unite and say NO MORE! NO MORE instability. NO MORE wild fires. NO MORE floods, and NO MORE hurricanes. We want a future, and as Americans, we want the Green New Deal.
"We Can't Save the World by Playing by the Rules Because the Rules Have to Change"-Greta Thunberg
