On October 23, DTE Energy is holding an open house about the "company’s energy planning process" and to allow people to "provide input on the company’s long-term plans to transform its mix of generation sources."
DTE is attempting to build a giant, billion-dollar gas plant. This is a chance for customers to show up and demand a plan for significantly more renewables. It's also a chance to voice concerns about clean air and water, affordable rates for low-income families, and energy freedom.
Right now, DTE Energy's plans will put us on the path to climate disaster, not solutions that create jobs and preserve affordable rates. Join our group of concerned citizens as we show up to tell DTE Energy we don't want fossil fuel bets. We want clean, renewable energy.
